Youth Ministry Vision, Meeting Times, and Events

Vision:

Our prayer for this generation is in the words of Paul, "that OUR YOUTH, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that OUR YOUTH may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:17-19

Weekly meetings:

Jr. High (6th - 8th grade):

Our Jr. High group meets every Monday from 6-7:30 pm at the church. We have fun playing games, have a snack and get to know each other, discuss the Bible together, pray for each other, and worship the Lord.

High School (9th - 12th grade):

Our high school meets at our house for dinner every Thursday from 7-9:00 pm. We focus on getting to know each other, share our lives over dinner, grow in our faith through a discussion based Bible study, and pray for one another. Call Josh for details.

Jr. High and High School (6th-12th grade):

Every Sunday morning we worship together with our congregation at 10:00 am. During the message we meet upstairs and Josh preaches to the teens as a whole, we have a few discussion questions, and a challenge for the week to put what we talked about into practice, we also pray for one another.

Special Events (6th-12th grade):

Hang out nights:

Every month or two we have girl and guy hang out nights where we just do something fun together.

Mission Trips:

We take two mission trips every year. One is a local two day trip to bless our local community. This is a great opportunity for students who have never been on a mission trip. Another is a weeklong mission trip that is cross cultural.

Conferences:

We attend at least one youth conference every year. In the past we have gone to Acquire the Fire in Muncie, IN and The Great Lakes Youth Explosion in Grand Rapids, MI.

Retreats:

We do one retreat every year that focuses on fellowship and spiritual renewal.

Camp:

We have an amazing week of camp ever year. See the Camp Amigos tab

Westfield Student Impact (Outreach ministry located at: 526 North Union Street, Westfield).
For students in Westfield schools: Come have a fun place to hang out that is a safe and engaging place for unchurched/nonChristian youth.

Jr. High: Tuesdays after school till 4:30 (intermediate is on Thursdays in the school)

High School: Mondays and Fridays after school till 5:00pm
